At Shamayim Shepherds, we believe that these incredible dogs are truly a gift from above — bringing joy, devotion, and companionship to our lives every single day.
Just like the boundless skies, our passion for Miniature American Shepherds knows no limits. Our goal is to breed sound, beautiful dogs that excel both in the show ring and as cherished family companions. Our dogs are loved like family and nurtured with devotion, celebrating their lineage and striving for the highest quality. Each puppy raised is a reflection of the spirit which ‘Shamayim,’ represents- reaching toward a future as bright as the heavens above..

Meet the Breeder
Hi! I’m Kiana, owner of Shamayim Shepherds. I am a lifelong animal lover, and have always been passionate about nurturing & raising animals since I was a young girl. I fell head over heels in love with the Miniature American Shepherd, and now my goal is to dedicate myself to improving the breed and raising the best dogs! They are truly a joy and blessing to spend our lives with!
About Our Program
My breeding program is small and special. I spend all of my time with my dogs and they are all well adjusted to a family atmosphere. The puppies are born and raised in my bedroom, so I am always close by to keep a caring watch over them. They are all socialized with children from day one, and we have an array of other animals on our farm, which makes them the perfect family and farm dogs!

Shamayim Shepherds is thrilled to announce that Bon Bon & Lapis Lazuli puppies are here! We are so excited to repeat this exceptional pairing and welcome another group of puppies from these two beautiful, proven dogs. This is a repeat breeding that we have been incredibly pleased with, and one we chose to do again because of the outstanding puppies their previous litter produced. Watching those puppies mature has only strengthened our confidence in this pairing. They have grown into beautiful, affectionate, intelligent Mini American Shepherds with lovely breed type, stable temperaments, excellent trainability, and that wonderful desire to be closely connected with their people. Bon Bon and Lapis complement one another beautifully, bringing together the qualities we value most in our breeding program; sound structure, beautiful breed type, confident and stable temperaments, and the affectionate, intuitive personalities that make exceptional family companions. At Shamayim Shepherds, our goal has never been simply to produce beautiful puppies. We strive to thoughtfully preserve and improve the Mini American Shepherd by producing dogs that are as sound in mind as they are in structure. Dogs who can thrive as cherished family members while also having the quality, versatility, and temperament to excel in the show ring, performance, and beyond. We are especially excited about this litter because we know firsthand what this pairing can produce. Sometimes the best testament to a breeding is seeing the puppies from it grow up, and the success of Bon Bon & Lapis’s previous litters made the decision to repeat this pairing an easy one. Our waitlist is already beginning to fill, and we currently have availability for both companion and select show homes. We will also be retaining all puppies with their tails left natural, so families interested in a naturally tailed puppy are encouraged to reach out for this special litter. Our puppy placement process is centered around finding the best match between each puppy and their future family, because the best puppy isn’t necessarily the puppy you pick first, but the puppy who is truly the right fit for your home and lifestyle. At Shamayim Shepherds, raising exceptional puppies begins long before they leave our home. Our puppies are lovingly raised as part of our family and receive intentional daily socialization, early exposure to household sights and sounds, introductions to a variety of people and animals, grooming and bathing experiences, cratetraining foundations, potty training foundations, and confidence building activities designed to help them transition smoothly into their new lives.

We are delighted to welcome another beautiful litter from Catalina and Lapis Lazuli.
Their previous litter exceeded our expectations, producing puppies with beautiful breed type, sound structure, wonderful temperaments, and the affectionate, people oriented personalities we value so highly in our program. As those puppies have matured, we have been continually pleased to see the qualities we hoped to preserve expressed in each of them, making the decision to repeat this breeding an easy one.
Catalina and Lapis complement one another exceptionally well. Both bring qualities that are important to our vision for the Miniature American Shepherd: balanced structure, correct breed type, intelligence, trainability, confidence, and stable, affectionate temperaments. Most importantly, we have seen firsthand that this combination produces dogs who are not only beautiful, but genuinely enjoyable to live with.
We are particularly pleased that every puppy in this litter will be keeping their natural tail. We have long appreciated the natural-tailed Miniature American Shepherd, and we are excited to offer families the opportunity to welcome one of these puppies into their homes.
As with every Shamayim litter, these puppies are being raised in our home and are receiving an intentional foundation from their earliest days. They are being thoughtfully socialized and exposed to the sights and sounds of a busy household, a variety of people and animals, grooming and handling, early crate training, potty-training foundations, and age-appropriate experiences designed to build confidence and adaptability.
Our puppies are raised with the understanding that their early experiences matter. We want each puppy to leave us prepared not simply to be a beautiful representative of the breed, but to become a confident, well-adjusted, deeply connected companion for the family who welcomes them.
We are incredibly excited to watch this special litter develop and to see the qualities of Catalina and Lapis come together once again. Repeat breedings are an opportunity to build upon what we already know, and we are very proud of the puppies their first pairing produced. We have high hopes for this next generation and look forward to watching each puppy grow into their own unique personality and potential.
